Cathy McAnespie, the owner of PrimeTime of Exeter, has been in the horology profession since 1996.
PrimeTime originally began life in 2000, specialising in repair and restoration work. Since then, Cathy’s career, customer base and contacts have developed to such an extent, that the business had to expand, and the PrimeTime of Exeter Ltd shop was opened on the 15th of December 2007, to encompass a retail aspect to the business. Since opening in the distinctive village community of St. Leonard's in Magdalen Road, Exeter, the business has thrived, developed and succeeded beyond expectation.
For several years, Cathy appeared in her own popular, regular spot on BBC Radio Devon as the ‘Clock Doctor’. Cathy provided general advice and information and took hundreds of telephone calls relating to problems with the listeners ailing clocks, hence the title ‘Clock Doctor’.
